AHL provides Residential Care, Day Care and Respite Care. With the approach of a Person-Centred Care (PCC), individualised integrated care plans and programmes are specifically designed for every Resident and Day Care Elder at our Lodge.

The primary intention of the integrated care initiative is to promote the overall well-being of each Resident by providing the best quality of life for PWD. A multi-disciplinary team of healthcare and allied healthcare professionals collaborate to assess and provide integrated quality care for each Resident and Day Care Elder by taking into consideration their interests and preferences.

Key programmes and initiatives at AHL are diverse and yet customised to cater to the needs of PWD. Assessments for appropriateness of programmes for each Resident take into account their past lifestyles, strengths, interests and comfort level for new activities. The programmes aim to engage them in activities that are functional, purposeful and provide meaning and interest to the Resident.

The programmes are designed not only to benefit the Residents, but also to enhance dementia awareness in the community. Eventually we envision creating a society in which PWD are integrated and respected for who they are thus enhancing their quality of life.
