Mr Leow Tze Wen is the Group Managing Director of Citystate Group, a private investment holding company with interest in Insurance, Education, Travel and Food related businesses. He started his career in investment banking in 1996, working with local and foreign companies such as OCBC and Merrill Lynch. He also worked with Guy Carpenter, a reinsurance broker in London before joining the Citystate Group Pte Ltd in 1998, becoming the Group Managing Director in 2007. In 2011, Mr Leow was appointed Principal Officer of EQ Insurance (part of Citystate Group), subsequently becoming its Chairman in 2014. Other appointments include being Group Chief Operating Officer of Citystate Capital Asia Pte Ltd, Chairman of Julia Gabriel Group, an education business running Early Childhood Learning Centres and Enrichment Centres throughout South East Asia and China; and Chairman of Citystate Travel Holdings Pte Ltd. Mr Leow is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds a BSc (Econs) and MSc (Econs) from the London School of Economics, and Political Science (Econs) in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, UK.
