Chen Huiwen works as an Architectural Consultant for two decades. She's currently working in a local Architectural Consultancy firm at senior management level. She has long interest in community services and volunteering at grounds such as food distribution, hair cutting programs at elderly nursing homes, managed Flag days and involved in charity fairs/events with different societies and associations. Her interest also includes overseas community projects (eg. building of schools, orphanages and food program for the disadvantaged etc) and natural disaster relief efforts. She got to know Apex Harmony Lodge in the 90s and was involved in the opening of Lodge. Since then, she helps out in the Lodge periodically in the MC, sub-comms or simply as an ad hoc volunteer at different periods. She is currently serving in the Management Committee at Apex Harmony lodge and The Nanyang Moral Uplifting General Society.
