IT Executive
Working closely in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders of AHL, the IT Executive plays an active role to meet AHL overall strategic objectives and operational needs. The IT Executive is responsible for technology related matters to enhance quality of dementia care at the Lodge.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in technology related matters which include;
- Digitalisation and technology strategy – Plan, develop, and implement a digitalisation and technology strategy including culture that is aligned with the organisation vision, and meets the organisation needs
- Technology infrastructure and Hardware Management – Plan, monitor, maintain, upgrade, enhance and renewal of the IT hardware to ensure availability and reliability of IT systems and services
- Software support and Management – Plan, maintain the workflow, set policies and procedure that ensure reliability and availability of system or applications and operate at the optimum level of performance
- Network Security & Contingency Management – Identify, protect, detect, respond and recover Lodge’s intellectual properties and provide a secure & uninterrupted IT working platform
- Training and Coaching –work with relevant departments to develop, train and coach staff to help them perform more efficiently, effectively and being visionary in their position with just-in-time and future-ready IT knowledge and competency.
- IT Assets management - including planning, replacement, loan management, storage and monthly and annual maintenance.
- Vendor management - Liaise, coordinate, and manage consultants, contractors, suppliers of IT services.
- Compliance and info security and integrity – Plan, develop, implement and ensure adherence by users to business rules, systems workflow and processes to achieve data and information integrity.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Management Science, or equivalent, with relevant working experience.
- Experience in Applications, Database and Network.
- Possess initiative and strong analytical & problem solving skills.
- Able to plan, organize, and articulate well.
- Structured and process driven, with project management skills.
- Dynamic, resourceful, able to work independently and works well with others.
- A hands-on-person who is able to provide technical guidance to others.
- Able to attend to ad-hoc issues outside normal working hours.
