Fundraising Practices

In the event that the Lodge wishes to carry out fund-raising activities, the Board shall review the funding needs of the Lodge and initiate the appropriate fundraising plans. The Board will further ensure that all fundraising initiatives and activities are transparent and ethical and that the Fund-Raising Efficiency Ratio (below 30%) is maintained.

Members of the public may make a donation via the various modes listed below. As a matter of practice, Donations-in-kind will be solicited only when there is a specific need for the donation which will in turn benefit residents and clients. Donations-in-kind that are not suitable at the time of donation will be rejected.

Tax Exemption

Apex Harmony Lodge (AHL) is an Institute of Public Character (IPC). While your donations are channelled towards providing integrated care programmes for our Residents and Daycare Elders, you'll enjoy a 250% tax exemption on your qualifying donations.

AHL is an eligible Voluntary Welfare Organisation (VWO) under the Community Silver Trust (CST). Your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Government to further enhance our care services to our residents and elders. You can find more information about the CST at AIC.

To facilitate the issue of tax exempt receipt to you, kindly provide your name, NRIC no, mailing address and contact details on the back of your cheque. If you're a corporate donor, please include your entity name, business registration number, mailing address, contact information and person in-charge.
